Melinda Dalke

I am a Naïve Impressionistic artist living in Turner, Oregon. I share my life with several beautiful cats, 2 incredible dogs and a wonderful husband. I have lived in the Northwest for over 10 years and love it! I am originally from Las Vegas, Nevada. In 1993, I graduated from the Community College of Southern Nevada with an Associates Degree in Graphic Arts.

I donate several paintings a year to charity fundraisers. I am a founding member of Art Helping Animals-an online International group that donates to animal rescues, shelters and charities.

I like to approach each painting differently, some call my art Naïve Folk other Impressionism. I enjoy all types of mediums: watercolor, acrylic, ink, mixed media, pastel and colored pencil. I love to bring a bit of my personality to all of my art. My main subject is animals, which are a huge part of my life.
